We require nurses all over the UK to undertake paramedical exams for insurance purposes. Paramedical examinations are carried out at the client's home or workplace.
The medical normally takes about 20 minutes and consists of taking a personal and family history, height, weight and blood pressure check and peak flow reading. A simple urine analysis test also needs to be conducted.
With the medical you may also be required to take a sample of blood (if you are appropriately qualified).
Taking an Oral Fluid Sample (saliva swab) to test for HIV (to include pre-test counselling) or Cotinine (test for smoking habits).
